This page lists every cookie and similar storage the Yarnwake website (yarnwake.combomint.com) can use. The Game itself does not use cookies. Only the strictly necessary item is used without asking; everything else waits for your choice in the cookie banner, and nothing optional is loaded if you reject it.
Strictly necessary
Needed for the site to work and to remember your choices. Always on.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
cc_cookie | Yarnwake (this site) | Remembers your cookie choices, so we do not ask again on every page. | 6 months |
yw_campaign | Yarnwake (this site) | Session storage, not a cookie: the campaign link you arrived from (utm_ parameters) and the referring page, sent with the waitlist form so we know which campaign worked. When you arrive from a Meta ad it also keeps the ad click ID, which is only ever sent if you accept advertising cookies. | Until you close the tab |
yw.ref | Yarnwake (this site) | Session storage, not a cookie: the invite code of the friend whose link you followed, sent with the waitlist form so your friend gets the credit. | Until you close the tab |
yw.me | Yarnwake (this site) | Local storage, not a cookie: your personal invite page key, kept on this device after you confirm your email so the page can show your invite link and how many friends joined. | Until you clear your browser data |
yw.conv | Yarnwake (this site) | Session storage, not a cookie: remembers that a sign-up was already reported, so a reload never counts it twice. | Until you close the tab |
